JOB SUMMARY
OTC Industrial Technologies marketing team is searching for an experienced and technical Sr. Ecommerce Manager to oversee and manage the operations and strategy of our Ecommerce Platform. This individual will play a critical role in developing and optimizing our online presence, ensuring a seamless user experience and driving the development and implementation of the ecommerce road map.
As a Sr. Ecommerce Manager at OTC, you will play a critical role driving the success of the ecommerce sales channel. You will collaborate closely other department leadership to ensure the success of the ecommerce platform and delivering a valuable customer experience. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach, capable of balancing technical management with creative problem-solving.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Develop and execute a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with overall business objectives.
- Collaborate with leadership to set KPIs and strategic goals for the e-commerce team.
- Oversee the functionality, design, and performance of the e-commerce website and ensure it meets technical and user experience standards.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, developers, and third-party technology providers.
- Lead website migrations, integrations, and upgrades, ensuring scalability and reliability.
- Partner with the digital marketing team to execute campaigns across SEO, SEM, email, social media, and affiliate marketing channels.
- Optimize on-site merchandising, product search, and navigation to improve conversion rates.
- Implement and manage A/B testing and personalization strategies to enhance user experience.
- Monitor and analyze site performance, sales data, customer behavior, and digital marketing metrics.
- Generate detailed reports and dashboards to track KPIs and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Leverage data analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Tableau) to inform decision-making.
- Manage and mentor a team of e-commerce specialists and coordinators, fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Provide technical guidance and ensure the team's alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication between IT, marketing, logistics, and customer service teams.
- Implement user-centric designs and features, focusing on mobile-first and responsive design.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, IT or business-related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing e-commerce websites or digital projects.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms (e.g., Roc Commerce, Magento, SFCC) and web development technologies.
- Experience with SEO, Google Analytics, and other web analytics tools.
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize.
- Attention to detail is a must for this position.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Can manage multiple tasks with clear prioritization on order of completion.
- Excellent Interpersonal skills, with ability to collaborate and be a team player across multiple channels within the organization.
- Has a strong work ethic with a proven track record of executing tasks on time.
