Director of Sales
About this role
OTC Industrial Technologies is seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Sales to lead our growth initiatives in the compressed air systems market. This high-impact leadership role is ideal for a results-driven sales executive with a strong background in industrial sales and a passion for building high-performing teams.
As Director of Sales, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive revenue, expand market share, and position OTC as a leader in compressed air technologies. You'll oversee a team of experienced sales engineers and collaborate cross-functionally with service, operations,and senior leadership to deliver innovative, customer-centric solutions.
What You'll Do:
- Supports a strong, team-based culture that aligns with investment in our people, taking care of our customers and achievement of core expectations.
- Focused engagement with all members of the team to make sure that they are supported and achieve a high level of success.
- Must be able to resolve both personnel and customers issues promptly and effectively.
- Clear understanding of strong cross-functional relationships and what they mean to manage a successful business.
- Develops and implements effective collaborative strategies to achieve expectations.
- Successfully executes all action plans and strategies to achieve the desired outcome.
- Possesses a strong business acumen to make sound decisions pertaining to the needs of the business including all aspects of P&L.
- Create and submit an annual sales plan based on market potential.
- Work with the inside sales manager to ensure customer orders are entered and processed correctly and efficiently.
- Ensure customer issues are resolved promptly and effectively.
- Implement and support corporate initiatives intended to achieve the corporate mission.
- Must be willing to complete sales call as needed with your direct reports
- Other duties may be assigned.
What You'll Need:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, but not required minimum 4 years of sales experience
- Must be willing to travel up to 50% - 60%
- 5-10 years of relevant experience in sales, marketing or engineering.
- Sales Management required
- A commitment to the concept of doing it right the first time
- Technically knowledgeable, conscientious, detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.
- Valid Driver's License must be able to complete a drug test and background check.
